Detail and instructions for the Day of Community Service on Saturday, April 26th


When
Saturday, April 26at 8:00am - 12:00pm

Where
Parchester Neighborhood Community Center, 900 Williams Drive, San Pablo, California

Instructions
Please arrive a few minutes early to receive instructions and be assigned to on of the following service project groups:

  1. Clean-up crews to help the elderly and handicapped move unwanted items from their homes to dumpsters 
  2. Work crew in the Parchester Community Healing Garden 
  3. Sign crew upgrading the community's entrance signage 
  4. Clean-up crew performing trash clean-up on coastal access trails nearby

Suggested tools and items to bring

  • Gloves
  • Leaf rake
  • Dust mask
  • Broom and dust pan
  • Flat square shovel

Please mark your tools with a sharpie so you don't lose them

What to wear

  • Long sleeved shirt 
  • Long pants 
  • Short sleeved shirt 
  • Safe shoes 
  • Hat 
  • Sunglasses 
  • Sunscreen 

Please wear layers of clothing so you can adapt to the weather for personal comfort 

Water and first-aid will be available on-site
